| Chapter History
Founded in 1993, the St. Louis Chapter of AALNC is
proud to be a dynamic Chapter continually growing and strengthening.
Our steady growth has been the result of hard work and great networking.
The St. Louis Chapter hosted the National AALNC Conference in the
year 2000, which attracted hundreds of participants! In our tradition
of continuing education, we hold quarterly educational meetings
and organize a Fall Conference annually. These educational opportunities
play an important role in the Chapter’s desire to provide
a supportive environment and prime networking time for all members.
Our Chapter is proud of our members who hold
the Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC) title. This is a national
credential that recognizes experience, knowledge and commitment
to the specialty practice of Legal Nurse Consulting. In addition,
we have also been represented at the national level through a charter
member of the Chapter, Mary Ann Shea JD, BS, RN, who served as the
2003-2004 President of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants
(AALNC). We were also honored by AALNC as the 2007
Chapter of the Year Award, in recognition
for consistent demonstration of career professionalism, commitment
to AALNC, and service to the legal nurse consulting profession.
