Chapter Goals

• Serve as a resource to other professional organizations of similar interest, allied health professionals, government agencies, educational facilities, the legal community, and the general public.
• Promote membership and maximize participation at the local and national levels.
• Maintain a solid financial base to support operation of the Chapter and fund the annual Fall Conference.
• Promote recognition as a professional nursing specialty with its own skills and expertise in medical-legal issues.
• Develop educational programs that result in knowledgeable and articulate Legal Nurse Consultants who project and uphold the standards and practice of Legal Nurse Consulting.
• Facilitate and exchange information and establish a communication network for mutual support and professional affiliation among its members.
