Mission Statement
The St. Louis Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional advancement of registered nurses practicing within the specialty of Legal Nurse Consulting. Founded in 1993, our primary commitment is to the promotion of quality health care through the provision of information on medical-legal matters relating to health care delivery and professional practice. We are a service driven enterprise directed to individuals striving to meet the needs of their respective professions and the community at large.
Chapter Goals
- Serve as a resource to other professional organizations of similar interest, allied health professionals, government agencies, educational facilities, the legal community, and the general public.
- Promote membership and maximize participation at the local and national levels.
- Maintain a solid financial base to support operation of the Chapter and fund the annual Fall Conference.
- Promote recognition as a professional nursing specialty with its own skills and expertise in medical-legal issues.
- Develop educational programs that result in knowledgeable and articulate Legal Nurse Consultants who project and uphold the standards and practice of Legal Nurse Consulting.
- Facilitate and exchange information and establish a communication network for mutual support and professional affiliation among its members.
Chapter History
- Founded in 1993
- Hosted the National AALNC Conference in 2000
- Honored by AALNC as the
Chapter of the Year Award in 2007, in recognition for consistent
demonstration of career professionalism, commitment to AALNC,
and service to the legal nurse consulting profession.

LNCC Listing
Our Chapter is proud of our members who hold the Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC) title. This is a national credential that recognizes experience, knowledge and commitment to the specialty practice of Legal Nurse Consulting. Administered by the American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board (ALNCCB), the LNCC credential recognizes experience, knowledge, and commitment to the specialty practice of legal nurse consulting. The following members have achieved LNCC status through the certification program developed by AALNC.
